The focus of most of these images are curches and religion-related imagery. This gives us a view into the past. Most people lived by the church and it was their beacon of hope. One of the churches is the old one, just alongside the graveyard; currently under construction for protection. Being a really old shelter of faith it must be protected, it’s becoming not only a church, but a piece of history. I want the viewer to be able to create their own story, or not think about any story, just get absorbed by what is in front of them.
Sometimes enjoying images can feel like some sort of deep meditation. Either thinking you are in that "picture-perfect" place so no worry can get to you, or realizing how big is the "whole picture". Images have always been like an escape for me and I hope that these images can be the same for you.
